Even though Brazilian Justice awaits the return of former deputy Alexandre Ramagem, who is a fugitive in the United States, the Rio de Janeiro judiciary is analyzing a legal action filed by him. Ramagem sued a car rental agency located in Recreio dos Bandeirantes to dispute a debt of R$ 54 thousand related to the rental of an armored vehicle. The case, still in early stages, could shed light on the financial obligations of the ex-parliamentarian while he remains outside the country. Legal experts point out that the outcome may affect both the creditor’s claim and any possible extradition requests.
